Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!/KonoSuba (2016) Review

Yay,I finally finished watching old animes on my list and I'm finally up to date with this
season's anime! So I wanted to do a review on this anime for a while but I didn't know where was my best choice to watch it,until I found out it was on Crunchyroll.
[Crunchyroll, your best source for manga and anime!] (I'm just recommending it as an anime viewer,I'm not really sponsored by crunchyroll, even though I should be after what I just did)
So,after marathoning the 10 episodes of this anime I got my conclusions and so,I wanted to do a review in it SO BAD and I'll tell you why.

Just the description already caught all my attention when I read it. "After dying a laughable and pathetic death on his way back from buying a game, high school student and recluse Kazuma Satou finds himself sitting before a beautiful but obnoxious goddess named Aqua. She provides the NEET with two options: continue on to heaven or reincarnate in every gamer's dream—a real fantasy world! Choosing to start a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing villages. But before he goes, he can choose one item of any kind to aid him in his quest, and the future hero selects Aqua."

If THAT didn't hype you enough, let's jump to the review!

Again, the description alone already got me sold,so you can already expect some good points on this one.

At First, the story revolves about a "shut-in NEET" so the character is pretty simple with no abilities whatsoever which is good for the story, since we can see how he evolves into a different person. So: NEET + an adventure world=drastic changes on personality, something I like in anime.
Let's add the fact that he picks a goddess to go with him, then the goddess turns out to be completely useless! Now THAT is a plot twist! A very funny one.
[From left to right:Darkness,Kazuma,Aqua and Megumin]

The "useless goddess" factor already tells you there's gonna be comedy here, but it doesn't stop there,oh no. After a while, they decide to recruit more people if they want to ACTUALLY go on adventures. What do they get? A masochist pervert warrior and a demon girl who LOVES explosion magic.... She's probably Micheal Bay's daughter but that doesn't matter, you make your own theories about that if you want later.
These four main characters are also aiming to defeat the evil devil king, which is a very hard  objective actually, considering what the team itself is.
The animation,backgrounds...hell,the whole art in general is just great! I wasn't really expecting such fluid animation and really well done effects and backgrounds! (Then again,I've been reviewing pretty old animes for some tine now,but still)

Now,before going to the final scores, let's go into the good and bad points.

GOOD POINTS:
-Cool and funny story
-Also cool and funny characters
-Fluid and great animation,effects,etc.
- "EXPLOSION!!" ~Megumin
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
BAD POINTS
-It's so short! Come on! Only 10 episodes?! I LITTERALY was able to marathon the whole thing in 1 day!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Final score:10/10 (No,they're not paying me to give that score. I really loved the anime!)

Well, those are my thoughts on KonoSuba,or at least the first season.
Yup,a second season has been confirmed. I'm also planning on  reviewing that one.
But for now....
This was a review by Some Random Otaku
